Horizontal Finger Joint Feeding Line HSS200

HSS200 is a fully automatic production line that enables the automation of finger-joint line feeding.
We can integrate the feeding line into the input of all most common finger-jointing lines with horizontal milling cutters, both for new and existing equipment. For every delivered production line, we make the necessary modifications, taking into account your production building and material.

Feeding solution It arranges randomly positioned wooden blocks into a single line and smoothly guides them onto the infeed conveyor of the finger-jointing machine. Prior to the production line, the wooden blocks are randomly positioned and mixed up on the conveyor. The goal is to orient all blocks in the same direction, align them by one end, and additionally ensure that rectangular blocks always enter the finger-jointing machine in the same orientation. The line operates with many different block sizes, and a short changeover time for block size adjustments is guaranteed.
Sorting solution contains a quality grading device that determines the quality classes of all four sides of the wood blocks using to machine learning yes to artificial intelligence built algorithms. In the turner, the timber blocks are sorted automatically before the finger-jointing line input. To ensure the best possible quality of the final product, the timber block is turned with its highest quality grade side facing upwards. In addition, the detection algorithm also takes into account the quality of the bottom side, which will also remain visible in the final product. Finally, timber blocks deemed defective are automatically removed from the line.

The feeding line can also be supplied without a sorting solution, while maintaining the readiness for its future integration.
